Instructor and Guide
Nikki Sinamon
I took my first sensual movement class in 2009 and never looked back. Sensual movement and pole dance gave me a place where I could be my whole self.
I became an instructor in 2010 and a studio owner in 2013, later opening Silk Studio in 2018. I’m also a Sensuality University Master Trainer, certified trauma-informed Sensual Yoga instructor, and creator and producer of The Pole Show.
I’m a Houston native and a Virgo. On the rare occasion that I’m not dancing like a heaux, you’ll find me reading, listening to a true crime podcast, eating out, traveling, or out and about enjoying my city.
"An empowered and supported woman changes the world."

Embodied Yoga Guide
Ivette Alvarez
Ivette is an Embodied Yoga Guide and the owner of Soma Noir Yoga, based in Fort Worth, TX. She is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, completed the 30-hour Sugar and Sage Sensual Yoga Teacher Training, she’s a 14-year Army Veteran, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
During her free time, she enjoys a good book, trying new restaurants and learning from different cultures during her travels. Soma Noir Yoga was born from the knowledge that our bodies carry both our stories and our healing. As a veteran, Ivette has experienced firsthand how we can become disconnected from ourselves; how survival mode, stress, and constant alertness can pull us away from our breath, our softness, and our innate belonging within our own skin.
As an Embodied Yoga Guide, Ivette offers chakra-based, sensory-led, trauma-informed practices. She blends breathwork, intentional movement, and embodied awareness to support a gentle return to your body with clarity, compassion, and sovereignty. Her work invites you to soften back into yourself, to remember your inner harmony, and to reconnect with the parts of you that have long been waiting to exhale.
"Embodiment is where love softens us back into harmony."
